How many books have you written?

At the moment of me answering this question, I have all five books in the Desolation series already completed. The first one was released at the beginning of September 2023, with others following every two or three months apart.

Why did you decide to become an author?

My mind is a noisy place. I often spun stories in my head to fill the void, or to kill my boredom ever since I was a child. Once I reached adulthood I realized I could make a living by doing something I've always done - telling stories.

The idea for the story plot is a product of my morbid imagination, combined with the trauma I suffered at the age of 4.

Are you planning to become a full-time writer?

That is the plan. As of writing this answer, I am still working a full-time job, but if my work bears fruit, I am going into writing full-time.

Can I draw a fan art of your work?

You are free to do so and to contact me via my social media or mail. Provide a note as to whether or not you consent to having your artwork shared with credit.

Who is your artist?

My lovely neighbor, a man called Robert. He is the one who sparked my imagination and love for drawing. I did try to draw myself, but after years of slow progress, I realized I was too fidgety and impatient to sit for hours and hours in order to draw one "perfect" line. Thus, I took a different approach and focused on writing. Robert was more than interested in helping my writing journey by drawing the characters and book covers. Perhaps one day he will finally take my advice and create a platform of his own on the web, and if that day comes I will credit him properly.

The illustrations were made by another artist. Since she went silent on my DM's, I am unclear whether I am allowed to credit her or not, though I doubt calling her Asper would reveal who she is. Perhaps one day I will have the pleasure to work with her again.
